Frida Kahlo

“I used to think I was the strangest person in the world, but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways that I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true, I’m here, and just as strange as you. “

I agreed totally, except for the part that I don’t consider myself bizarre, flawed yes. Instead of bizarre, I would label myself different and kind of pushy. Always pushing the envelope and situations to see where they takes me.

Frida was a brave woman,  a trend setter for all human beings by showing us all that challenges are part of living and they shouldn’t stop us from being our true self. When I play back my life, I don’t want any dreams or wants left undone. Living it my way. Almost always.
