I decided this morning that I was going to put in storage (one box) the summer decorations and bring in the fall motif out from the same box. I have all my seasons in two boxes, one for summer and fall, and one for Christmas. I am kind of a magician.
As you can see, all I need is the scents and sights of fall…roasting nuts…pumpkin patch, a bit of a cool chill in the air…some trees turning their leaves…and some sweaters all ready for performance.
Not so! Not here in the Florida Peninsula…high today 84 degrees, humidity at 100%. It could be worse, so I am definitely a very happy camper making my magic act, and converting my tiny apartment into a display of fall in full splendor. Need to light up a candle or two, with pumpkin, or apple pie scents. I have two big candles in dark orange tones, so let the fall festivities begin. Which festivities are those, you may ask…well…I don’t have the foggiest idea yet, but I am working on it. Remember, I am a magician…
Hope you have a wonderful time decorating your digs, just as I did mine. Hopefully some of you will have the real deal. I am not complaining at all. Just that I enjoy my humidity and all luscious green vegetation all year around. The colors? I took care of that.
Your Happy Contessa
